2013 Polar Plunges: Licensed to Chill

More than a thousand people were bold and took the plunge to benefit Special Olympics athletes. Because of their support (and many others), we raised more than $159,000!

At four Polar Plunges in March, individuals, organizations and businesses jumped, dived, and belly flopped into the Pacific Ocean or area lakes to show their support for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. People even showed their support by standing in the "chicken coop" and cheering on the plungers.
