AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Associate Manager, Graphic Design & Marketing

Location: Long Beach

The Associate Manager, Graphic Design & Marketing, serves as one of the design experts for Special Olympics Southern California. The incumbent will design graphics, collateral, digital materials, merchandise, and videos. The incumbent manages in-house marketing materials, including obtaining quotes, working with vendors, and distributing/returning to/from staff (including regional staff). The incumbent will be responsible for event Signage and Wayfinding. This includes design, production, and creating and executing an operation plan for all main “Championship” events. The incumbent also updates SOSC’s photo library, websites, and emails as needed.

Associate Manager, Sports & Competition

Location: Murrieta, CA

The Associate Manager, Sports & Competition, is responsible for the organization and management of Special
Olympics sports programs in the identified county or geography to support athlete growth and retention. The Associate
Manager, Sports & Competition oversees and manages programming, sports training, and competitions for the given county or geography. This position participates in strategic planning for sports, utilizing advanced knowledge in all aspects of SOSC Sports Management, and has oversight responsibility for county sports activities. Specific duties and
responsibilities may vary by county or geography.

Specialist, Raiser’s Edge and Database Services

Location: Long Beach, CA

The Specialist, Raiser’s Edge and Database Services administers and manages the Raiser’s Edge constituent management database while maintaining established data entry guidelines and providing support to staff on Raiser’s Edge issues. This role manages all aspects of the Raiser’s Edge database and ensures data cleanliness and integrity, timely donor acknowledgement and thorough reporting.

This position creates, implements, and supports systems in the Raiser’s Edge that will enable the entire Development Team to perform with greater efficiency and accountability.

This position assists with the efficient operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure; serves as the primary contact and IT liaison for off-site events such as championship competitions; and provides back up for Games Management System (GMS) entry. The incumbent works with the IT Assistant Vice President to maintain efficient database operations for all software programs used to track athletes, donors and volunteers including developing and refining efficient data entry procedures.
