The Bowling Season kicks off each year in June and wraps up with the Bowling Championship in August. Although some modifications are made for athletes with physical disabilities, most Special Olympics athletes compete under the same rules and circumstances as athletes on a professional tour.
Both traditional and Unified bowling are offered during this season.
