2026 Mega Tip A Cop – Long Beach PD | Belmont Shore
MEGA Tip-A-Cop is a community fundraising event benefiting Special Olympics Southern California, where law enforcement officers step out from behind the badge and into community-facing roles to support local athletes. On Wednesday, July 15, from 5:00–9:00 PM, officers and volunteers from agencies including Long Beach PD and CSULB PD will serve as guest wait staff, greet patrons, sell raffle tickets, and visit participating restaurants during Long Beach’s Stroll & Savor event. In addition to the main event at Legends, several neighboring restaurants will be supporting the cause through donation QR codes and envelopes. The evening provides a fun and meaningful opportunity to raise funds for Special Olympics athletes while building positive connections with the community and humanizing the badge.
Legends Sports Bar & Grill will serve as the main hub for our MEGA Tip-A-Cop and raffle, while several neighboring restaurants—including Rance’s Chicago Pizza, George’s Greek Cafe, and others participating in Stroll & Savor—will support Special Olympics Southern California through donation buckets and QR code fundraising opportunities throughout the evening.
