The 2015 World Games was a truly historic event that united the world in the heart of Los Angeles through the power of inclusion, determination, and athletic excellence. In June 2025, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of this event during the Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC) Summer Games Championship in Long Beach. We invite athletes, families, volunteers, and fans to come together to honor the incredible achievements of the past decade, celebrate the spirit of the Games, and cheer on local champions as they take center stage this spring season of sports.

OPENING CEREMONY
Friday, June 6
During the Summer Games Opening Ceremonies, athletes, volunteers, partners, and fans will celebrate and honor the 10th anniversary of the 2015 World Games.
BREAKFAST WITH CHAMPIONS

At Breakfast with Champions, we will spotlight some of the incredible people who made the 2015 World Games an unforgettable event to remember.
RETURN TO WORLD GAMES
Saturday June 6 & Sunday, June 7
Join us in the Festival area at Summer Games where we will have an exciting interactive exhibit highlighting the unforgettable 2015 World Games experience.
