About the Event
The Bill Shumard Hall of Fame Gala is Special Olympics Southern California’s (SOSC) opportunity to recognize and honor the hundreds of Law Enforcement Officers who dedicate their time volunteering and raising funds in support of SOSC’s Athletes.
As SOSC’s CEO for 15 years, Bill Shumard was instrumental to the success of the LETR program. Through this awards gala we pay tribute to these dedicated officers who deserve our ongoing gratitude and respect for their efforts on behalf of the athletes.
